ABOUT ME

I am a friendly individual with a good sense of humour who enjoys life.

I work with children who have special needs and their families and also teach English.

I enjoy live music, good food, conversation, nature, forests,rivers,hugs,laughter,sunsets,beaches ancient buildings and meeting people and families from different countries and cultures.

I hope to meet you on my travels and you are welcome to stay with me and my wonderful daughters if you are willing to share your home with others. Best regards and wishing you all well. James.

Nature,art,history, architecture, good food, cycling, martial arts, reading, live music, festivals, cultural events, exhibitions and more, Scottish/Irish folk music and playing the bodhran,(a handheld percussion instrument) although I can't sing for toffee.

Neuroscience,history,philosophy, Klein, Chomsky and the like. My musical tastes are quite diverse, 60's,70's 80's, rock, classical, blues, gospel, folk. Pretty much everything really.

Seeing my daughter Sophie being born and holding her in my arms until her eyes opened.

Teach, Learn, Share

I left home at 16 with £5 in my pocket and traveled throughout Europe for 15 months. I hitch-hiked everywhere and worked along the way meeting many great people.(and a few strange ones ) Still have the travel bug!
