Well don't let the pic fool you. I'm actually a very boring guy....zzzzzzzzzzzzz ;-)

Well, if you want to share my couch be warned....I am a 'Boer', Afrikaner......roots in Africa for nearly 400 years.....so all those horror stories might be true....or are they? I blame it on the LW2 syndrome ;-) LW2? (Lethal Weapon 2) Not sure where they got those guys to portray Afrikaners but I'm dead sure with those accents they were the cheapest actors.

And just to soften up you wannabe couchsurfers.Be warned. If you sleep on my couch you will at some point have to eat African beef jerky. You won't leave until you took a HUGE bite....and of course smiled politely while doing so ;-)

For a peaceful nights sleep I keep my blood sucking African bats in a cage. They're a great judge of character and if they smell something dodgy, they'll find a way out of the cage.......non blood sucking incidents so far, so all 100% positive experiences up to date! ;-)

My observation in life is there is one thing that beats an opinion, and that is personal first hand experience.

With current global economic circumstances....now is the best time to make good out of a bad situation and get freedom from money....the world needs a revolution and I think couchsurfing is just the start of that 'new era'.

Life, thus far is the most amazing thing I've done, being a billionaire in exposure to experience.

My life experience showed me the best of humankind, and the worst. It taught me life is not black and white, but large chunks of grey. People's perceptions of the world, are moulded through their life experience, the journeys they travel, or the lack thereof.

Grew up under the Apartheid system. Was also a front line soldier elections.....saw things up front, good and bad, that make my experience first hand and not some hooha hearsay story you usually find by loose cannon reporters that help enforce stereotypes.....oh yes.....and of course jumping out of aircraft just for the heck of it.
