About Me

I am 22 years old and I come from the peaceful city Hai Duong located in the north of Vietnam. I could describe myself as an affable and happy person who always tries to look on the bright side and truly be in the present moment. I enjoy sharing things and talking to people about my life, my stories. When first meeting, some may think that I am quite calm but once you get to know me, I cannot stop chatting and making jokes. Now I am living in Madrid, Spain, traveling around and learning the language. I spend most of my free day strolling around to meet locals, make more friends and immerse myself in new cultures. These would definitely be the most beautifully memorable experiences in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living with a host family of five during my gap year in Spain, they are hospitality, careful and so kind to me, every single moment I feel so happy and be like in my home. I truly want to repeat my experiences and feelings when I am traveling. While searching for a CS host, I can find someone I have something in common with, maybe you are a cook who is passionate about foods like me, maybe you are the one who tends to travel to my country so this is a golden chance for us sharing interests. I feel the connections I can make through Couchsurfing much more steadfast than with someone in hostels. Keeping in touch with the hosts, even I know where they live so I can come back someday to visit them. Imagine that moment. I make sure it is the best in my life.

Interests

I prefer to spend time backpacking by myself and experiencing life in new lands is definitely my passion, and I reckon that this is the best way to learn, to grow up and to value my youth. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and get ready to take risks and go abroad before I start my “ real life”.

I am also interested in cooking and excited to create my own unique recipes regardless of sometimes it does not work out. To be honest, I am a foodie and I totally fall in love with Korean and Vietnamese foods.

I love being in nature because it is one of the few places I feel fully unplugged and my mind in peace. Animals, trees, water, soul, heaven, cloud, wind, sky, ....
