CURRENT MISSION

Right now I'm trying to see as much of the world in a year as I possibly can! I'm starting out in Canada, then a 3 month road trip in the US, after this to Australia and New Zealand and then southeast Asia before (maybe) heading home.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old bicycle mechanic who lives in the town of Ghent, Belgium. This is in the Flemish (Dutch) part of Belgium. I have a masters history degree.

I've only couchsurfed in Ghana but I have hosted two people so far in my house, great experience!

兴趣

Photography, I play basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, badminton, a big interest in music and movies, volunteer for Oxfam Fairtrade Shops and AFS (an organisation for cultural student exchanges).

When it comes to music I like things like rock, blues, jazz,... I really love 60s and 70s rock and blues like The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Cream,... Belgian has a really lively rock scene so there are a lot of Belgian bands that I love, and of course there are the festivals here!
Some other bands that I really like: John Butler trio, Queens of The Stone Age, Red Hot Chilli Peppers,..

I like a lot of different movies but my favorite directors are Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino. If I had to pick an absolute favorite I'd go for A Clockwork Orange. Brilliant. Pulp Fiction gets a well earned second place.
