Accumulate as many stories as you can by placing yourself in various places around the world. How else are you gonna entertain your grand kids when you can't run or walk anymore?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I allow my weekends to meet up with people from the community. I feel like I'm traveling when I'm hanging out with these people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about couchsurfing while doing a volunteer project in the Czech Republic. I didn't become aware of the meeting community until recently. So far, the people I've met are some of the coolest people on Earth.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

September 2012--My boss called me into his office one day and told me he had to cut my hours. I told him, "Why don't I save you more money by being gone for a whole month?" He agreed. I went home, booked my plane ticket to Eastern Europe, and within a week, I was exploring the Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia all by myself. And this was my first time flying in 20 years, and my first time travelling outside of the U.S.
