About Me

I am a husband, a father and an artist. I currently work in financial services as a user experience designer. I am an extreme extrovert and need human interaction to be happy. Yes I am that guy who will strike up conversation in the grocery store or on a train and even in the most taboo place the public restroom. I know awkward!
I owned a photo studio for 15 years and still enjoy taking photos when I travel. love to travel and experience good food and good company. I love to cook and make people happy one taste at a time. I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories of travel and life.
i grew up the youngest of 4 kids with a single Mom who used every waking hour to provide for her family. We lived in a small house in a small town in a very cold Minnesota. All of which I am very grateful for. This experience made me who I am. I learned how to survive on little, be thankful for plenty, and trust in Jesus to provide all my needs.
I married a wonderful woman that I first met at 16. We have been married for over 25 years now and have a lovely 19 yr old daughter who still lives at home. We married in Minnesota, Raised our daughter in North Carolina, and recently moved to Littleton Colorado. I live in a town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I moved here in 2018 to take advantage of all the great camping and skiing. I do a pretty good job of getting out as often as I can. I have a side hustle renting out Airstream campers to people who want to explore the mountains of Colorado and beyond. If you come stay with me you will most likely have a camper in my driveway.

Currently I am taking a sabbatical over seas for about 27 days. I am traveling from the United States from March 31 - April 26. I have always wanted to visit the holy lands. We met a couple of guys from Israel while camping in Moab Utah. One of the guys lived in our basement for a few months so I am going to visit him in southern Israel and take in some of the sights. I hope to take a cooking class while I am there as I love food from this region.
Also Spain is on my bucket list so I am going there for the food and the culture. I cannot wait to learn about the siesta! I have a short stay in London and hope to make it a quick but fulfilling few days. All this to say I am super excited to make new friends from around the world and this is where you come in. I could afford a nice hotel but to be honest I would rather spend time with people than sitting in my hotel room all alone. I am a kind and grateful guest. I would love to cook for you or take you to eat. Maybe take your portrait or even just see the sights. I have no real expectations but would be grateful for any time you would like to spend. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.
