About Me

Get out of my boring routines in Ohio for a while and experience cultures outside of the United States. I want to experience all the cultures I can and see the world differently. I also just want to test myself more as life has become too easy and boring for me. Seeking adventures. I am an introvert for the most part but love good company. I never got to party or enjoy my time when I was younger and have been working since age 14. Time to start exploring the world and having some fun.

I am currently living off my touring bicycle for a while as I train to tour the coasts of the USA. I have very little money, and have taken some time off work to get in touch with myself and improve my health. Money isn't very important to me, and I live as simple as I can. I love the outdoors and riding my bike.

I have a simple blog I use to record my adventures and various thoughts. It can be found at www.bananahammockbiking.wordpress.com for anyone who may be interested in what I've been up to. Cheers!

Life should be spent with the goal to learn something new everyday. If you don't like the way something is, work to make it better, or find an alternative. I can laugh at almost anything. Even things most don't find funny, I can find humor in. Laughing at myself is very important to me.

I try to be very respectful to others, regardless of who they are, and admit my ignorance when it becomes apparent. Everyone one the planet has something valuable to offer if you take the time to observe.

A good person is a good person. The rest doesn't matter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am broke, and enjoy the company of other people. I can't afford to stay in hotels with as much as I want to travel and explore. I also really enjoy meeting and learning about new people, so couch surfing makes perfect sense to me. Hotels are boring and monotonous as well. I would much rather spend $120 in one night doing something exciting with a host than staying in a fancy hotel.

I haven't put much thought into what really interests me deep down, but I think it really comes down to learning. I love learning more than anything, and have used many various hobbies to learn about many different things. I have done long distance bike rides, built computers, restored a truck, built an engine, and studied almost anything I can get ahold of. I do love audiobooks the most though. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with technical data and really enjoy a nice story. I love good story telling. Mike Rowe is my favorite story teller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I Can Share with Hosts

My weird stories. Knowledge of cars and mechanical systems. Basic mixed martial arts ad self defense techniques. Troubleshooting anything. Lots of random health and fitness techniques. Business strategies. How to solder. How to clap ridiculously loud. Dealing with depression. I know a little bit about alot. My high energy levels and curiosity drive me to explore constantly. Some would say im funny. I respond with "maybe, but looks aren't everything".
I am pretty good at working on bicycles, and can rebuild them. I'd love to share some bicycle knowledge and see more people on bikes. If you have a bike in need, please let me know. :)

I have experience in many different fields and am a pretty decent researcher. I'll add more cool stuff to share as I think of it. Just ask me literally anything. If I don't have the answer, I can surely find it. I love sharing knowledge and experience.
