About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love others well.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious mix of adventurousness, drivenness, humbleness, and responsibleness. I'm care about others, and love getting to know people for who they are. My wife and I live in a community, in one of the oldest homes in Orlando. We often travel together, so this profile's about us. =)

For those who care, I'm an INTJ. Jihan's an ESFJ. Yeah, it's an interesting mix. But it also means we can get along with just about anyone.

She's an extremely caring and compassionate person who loves God, her friends, and practically anyone she comes in contact with. She's incredibly open-minded.

PHILOSOPHY

The best way to love is through dignified interdependence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been couchsurfing in Berkeley/San Francisco last summer and did the Airbnb thing in Boston in April as well. I've had great experiences with both, and can't wait to meet more interesting, open-minded people.

We're on our way to London so we're not sure if we'll be able to host while there, depends on how much space we can afford....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couchsurfing once before in Berkeley/San Francisco. Oh, and I've bummed on a few friends couches in NYC if that counts too.

Interests

We both enjoy traveling, reading, and generally just sharing our lives with us. Given the choice, we'd always prefer to do life with others rather than by ourselves... we both believe that true humility and growth comes from looking to and sharing our lives with others. We're thankful for the experiences we've had thus far and are looking forward to many more to come.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Top of the list would have to be paragliding over the Sacred Valley in Peru. Next would be spending time unplugged and miles away from everything in the middle of the East China sea. One more? Watching the New Year's fireworks go off over the Caribbean Sea in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Barbados, Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mozambique, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
