ABOUT ME

First off I regret to say that I am only able to host on Friday and Saturday nights because my work schedule requires me to wake up at 5:45 if you are ok with leaving at 6:00am then you could potentially stay Sunday night as well.

What would you like to know? I would be happy and 100% willing to share myself completely and fully. However, I do feel it challenging to describe everything about me in this short paragraph but not because I think I am too cool, I guess I just don't know where to start.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started co-hosting in 2011. I say co-host because my housemate "Ellison Libran" was the main host who set up the CS profile and most often was the one to show them around SF. I had and continue to have such a wonderful experience and thus created my own profile.

I've surfed several times around the US as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been a blast meeting and hosting new people from all around the world. There has never been a surfer that I had negative feelings about. I have truly enjoyed meeting new people from various cultures around the world. I have done some traveling and will do more, always looking for local hosts first. I have found that I get a better understanding of a culture if I am staying with someone from that culture rather than at a hotel by myself or a hostel with a bunch of other travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have watched and enjoy watching a wide variety of movies from different era's and genres.

My musical taste is much like my taste in movies except i do not tend to enjoy modern pop music while I have enjoyed several pop movies.

I enjoy non fiction books about that tell a story of a journey, not too word heavy and generally choose books I can easily transport since I read on the train. Currently loving "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coehlo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of an airplane with a huge smile on my face, enjoyed the most beautiful view I have ever seen, felt the sensation of flying, briefly felt like i was going to die, and then landed safely on the ground.

Teach, Learn, Share

Look through my interests, many of them I will be able to share my knowledge about. My culinary skills is one that tends to be most popular with past surfers. I'd also be more then happy to collaborate or provide input into any art projects you have. I've been told in a good listener and often help friends and family when there in need of some non-judgements advice. So feel free to share whatever you feel comfortable with.
