ABOUT ME

I'm very engaging... I love conversation and I'm genuinely intrigued by people, their lives and their experiences. I love socializing and have a knack for making people feel very comfortable.

I fly by the seat of my pants most of the time. I rarely have a travel buddy because i usually don't plan trips more than a few weeks out... which means I usually fly solo.

I would rather blow every dollar I have on a trip around the world than have a loaded 401k and a handful of solid investments.

I love the thrill of meeting new people... people are fascinating to me.

My friends are few but they are very close to me...

I want to meet people and have a positive impact on their lives.

PHILOSOPHY

I find myself in the joy on the faces of others. My time here on earth is short and fleeting. I want to make people feel happy and young... and help them see their limitless potential.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work with my peers and staff on team building and self-improvement.

I coach youth sports... right now it's football season.

I do IT work for friends and family to help them with their businesses and their lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the couchsurfing.com website, but I have slept many nights on many couches throughout the US and the world.

兴趣

I like to spend my time out doors. I live on a beach so I enjoy a weekend bon-fire during the summer. During the winter you will find me on a nearby ski slope every weekend.

I like to camp, travel, cook, and entertain. I have no kids, so I have a lot of free time.

The Phantom Tollbooth is my favorite book. It embodies the human race in such a way that children smile as their imaginations grow and adults smile as they reflect on their own lives and modify their attitudes for the future.

There are three places in the world which are everything they are cracked up to be. Paris, NYC and Las Vegas... everything else (so far) has been anti-climactic.

I have worked in an Amish Lumber-mill and surfed the shores of Maui. And every new experience increases my appetite for more.

I'm an IT guy by trade... I have a ton of information and experience which can help people save money and become technologically self-reliant.

I am a football official by avocation... I love talking sports with people who are seeking a broader understanding of the games they love.

I was a middle-school youth pastor for years. My father was a Baptist preacher and my degree is in Biblical Studies (Jesus and I have, since, decided to see other people). I have a solid understanding of world religion(s) and the fundamental practices, traditions and beliefs behind them... I love "talking religion" with people who's opinions differ from my own... I always learn something about them and about myself.
