Overview
About Me
I'm a master student in Vietnamese studies at the University of Hamburg, Germany. I love languages and cultures as cultures fascinate me very much, as Miyamoto Musashi once said “It is difficult to understand the universe if you only study one planet”. That's why I'm struggling a lot to learn different languages that I come across. I also like cooking, brewing tea, swimming, and I'm learning Vietnamese calligraphy.
Traveling is learning to me, since it offers opportunities to get in contact with new cultures, and the people of such cultures, with whom I can witness my interested subjects in both similar and different manners (such as cooking, tea ceremony...)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gives me the opportunities to meet many interesting people, who tell me so many wonderful stories about the lands they have set food in and where they are from. I have met so many interesting people that I didn't ever think that I could meet before.

Music, Movies, and Books
I actually listen to all sorts of music, from classics to new pop, because I believe that to keep my mind open, it would be easier to connect with other people from everywhere and every age. But I have always been a fan of folk music and I'm trying to find and listen to it more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done recently would be the Vietnamese culture event that I organized for my university. I tried to deliver my culture to international friends. I made me really proud and happy to receive so many lovely stories from so many people on different parts of the world. It inspires me to want to hold one exchange culture event in 2021.
