I work as a fish biologist and am fairly new to the Kootenays. I like skiing, surfing (waves and couches), fishing, kayaking, hiking or just about anything else outdoors. Music's good too and I'm usually down for a campfire or basement jam.

No experience through CouchSurfing.org yet. But I've informally surfed a few couches around Canada, USA and New Zealand over the years and hosted friends, friends of friends and new acquaintances.
