About Me

My favorite thing to do is thinking, which leads to thinking about if I think too much. Then to thinking about if thinking you think to much is just because I am thinking too much about my thinking. But if its just because I am thinking too much about my thinking then it would mean that I do really think too much.

PHILOSOPHY

I have 3 quotes or lines about how i approach my reality tunnel.

-Most of the problems exist not because of X but how we define X.

-Different things happen for the same reasons | the same things happen for different reasons.

-Unlike everyone else I am not unique.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some couchsurfers that were surfing at a friends place. She told me about the site and I thought of how amazing the idea was. and a decade later still here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Am a great fan of audiobooks. I think there is something about the medium that harks back to our history of storytelling.

Recently completed Stephen Pinker's "The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined." It is one of the most substantial pieces of information i've had the pleasure to consume.

One of my favorite quotes from a book is "there are no contradictions, when you think you are facing one, check your premises and you will find one or more of them is wrong."

Knowing where this quote is from may give one assumptions of my general demeanor. If it is objectionable I am more than happy to discuss and see if I can actually contradict your hypothesis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had the life I've led, seen the tings I've seen, met the people I've met and all without being in debt or possessing any wealth financially.

A random on is being introduced to the child of a Vice President of a country I was in for the first time in a garage while he was smoking a joint and thinking, I just saw your parent railing against drugs some time ago...I think I always had a kernel of disillusionment towards politics and think that would have at least been one of my earlier moments of fertilizer for that planted seed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am in the process of creating a life where it can be financially lucrative to learn ads much as i can, find ways to teach that and share it with others. I dont think I am exceptionally intelligent but know enough that my background and life experience has been quite unusual. I am of the belief that with enough access to information in a form that is palatable then we can appropriate it to our benefit and that it also benefits everyone to be a benefit to others rather than a hinderance. Just how we take raw foods and through cuisine arrange them in ways more appealing to be ingested, the same can and is being done with information.

I want to be a part of this.

Life begets life.

Life is appropriation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pretty decent cook if that comes up and can discuss a wide range of topics. What do you think a culture would look like if the concept of having taboos was the only taboo?
