About Me
Hello!
My name is Dylan, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in French and Francophone Studies through at Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pennsylvania. My studies brought me to the south of France where I studied in fall of 2016.
My studies have also lead me to pursue a certificate program to teach French, Spanish, and English as a second language. I believe that language is one of the best tools for teaching community and communication. I just finished my first year teaching French in American public ed. and I loved every minute of it!
Next school year I'll be teaching English in Créteil, France!

Music, Movies, and Books
Edith Piaf , Lorde, Haim, Sufjan Stevens, Sza, Lizzo, Stromae, The Godfather is a great book, Magritte is a bad ass, Julia Nunes is the soundtrack to my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As an undergrad, I spent a year renegotiating, researching, and traveling in order to reformulate the curriculum of an Africana studies Class entitled Race and Place: New Orleans. This involved taking the class, visiting the city, and then spending a semester of research to redefine the learning outcomes of the course.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe teaching is the act of sharing and facilitating the communication of ideas. I believe that I could, hopefully, share a bit about traversing spaces of power, both real and imagined spaces.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully a contagious optimism
