About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living life to the edge and to the fullest while conquering the world travelling!

ABOUT ME

19 year old sudent studying in University College Dublin.

I am the kind of person who cannot keep still for five minutes, otherwise I will just get bored and implode (unless I'm sleeping of course), thus I absolutely love keeping busy and doing 3 different things at once.

Lately, I have been endeavouring in a lot of travelling throughout the past year or two, purely due to my further understanding and inquisitiveness of other cultures.

Here are my social networking websites if you want to be virtual friends for now, but real friends soon! :P

While I'm filling this space up, I might as well add my favourite quotes, so hopefully you'll get a wider understanding of the person that I am.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"The past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift." - Me

“I believe that if you have revolutionary potential you then have a moral obligation to make the world a better place.” - Lady GaGa

"Baby I was born this way!" — Lady Gaga

PHILOSOPHY

EQUALITY FOR ALL! <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several couchsufers to date, and it has been an absolute pleasure for me to meet new people who were travelling and exploring Ireland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled around Europe with two friends and we have stayed with random hosts in sporadic cities. I was extremely grateful for everyone who has generously hosted me and my friends.

Interests

Travelling, meeting new people, figure skating, keeping fit, learning new things, exploring cultures, trying new foods, swimming, kayaking and ironically, partying!

Music, Movies, and Books

Horror movies and Lady Gaga are my favourite ever.
However, I will happily watch any type of movie, and I have an interest in R&B, mild rock, classical, soul, pop, electronic and some country music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled around Europe, which I consider to me, to be an invaluable experience.

I have also competed in many figure skating competitions and I have successfully won first place many times.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fortunately I live in the heart of Dublin city centre, therefore it only takes literally a five minute walk from my apartment to the Spire (which is located in the centre of Dublin's main street, O'Connell Street of course. So, it will obviously be easy for you to explore the city with ease, as my house is only around the corner. Connolly and Heuston station are only a ten minute walk away from my house too, so if any if your next destination is rural Ireland, you're nearly there!

If you're coming from the airport, there are many means of transport for you to get to O'Connell street. Outside of Terminal 2 there will be numerous Dublin busses that will serve the city centre, including the air-link (the big green bus). These busses are generally quite cheap, averagely three euro or so for a full fare.

In my apartment living-room, I have a couch that pulls-out into a double bed, this can comfortably sleep two people. I have sheets, pillows and blankets. However, unfortunately you will need to provide your own towels, as I only do washing at the weekends when I have gathered enough laundry (to save money with my electricity bills, yes I am a student!) although you can wash your stuff with mine if you want! :)

During the days that I am not working, I would be more than happy to give you a guide of Dublin and show the historical beauty of the city and all of it's splendour. Notable places such as, The Phoenix Park, Stephens Green, The GPO, The Spire and The National Museum are only a spitting distance!

Furthermore, I tend to work the whole weekend and some days during the week, averagely 35 hours, but not all the time so hopefully it works out for us. During these days, unfortunately I will not be able to help you with being guided around the city, but I can offer you some advice if you need some. Considering I work in a cinema in the city centre, Parnell Street to be specific, I have the opportunity to bring my guest(s) to see a movie or two, during their stay if you would like to have a complimentary trip to the theatre! I could honestly sit and watch movies day and night with lots of foooood! ;)

I also do not smoke and I detest it, so please, if you smoke and you're coming, you will have to go outside to do so, as I cannot bare the smell.

If you have pets, I don't think it will be a problem, once they're not too smelly, haha. I must admit, I do love cats, but unfortunately I don't have one here, but I do at my home address! :D

The only thing that I ask from people who are going to send me a Couchsurfing request is to please have your profile filled out properly with adequate information about yourself, as I wouldn't feel comfortable accepting someone who I cannot have a pre-read of their personal information. Moreover, since I am being generous by hosting you, I would appreciate it if you would be able to clean up after you, contribute to the meals and of course have as much fun as possible!

Slán leat agus go raibh maith agat, pour lire tous les informations ce que j'ai ecrivé - Trilingual! Haha.
