Hi everyone! my name is Dylan and i am a 25 year old university student from Australia. I am in my final year currently and once qualified i aim to be working in the homelessness/housing field as this is an area and a social issue which is very close to my heart. I have had a trip planned to Europe for when i finish university for some time now, and i have also been saving for the trip for some time. I am a very laid back person who only enjoys a night out once in a blue moon, and much prefers to wake up early and spend my days and nights out exploring and doing activities.

The reason i am on Couchsurfing is because i believe it would be an amazing and enriching experience and an interesting alternative to the ways in which people usually travel. I am extremely keen to meet people and experience different cultures first hand. I believe that Couchsurfing could be an incredibly interesting and rewarding learning experience for both myself, and the people i stay with.

兴趣

first and foremost my main hobby and passion is skateboarding. Every spare moment i get when i am not studying or when the weather isn't shitty is spent skating. I have been skating since the age of 12 so i am quite talented now and love exploring new cities for skateboarding. I also love doing art and photography. I have previously studied a certificate in visual arts photography however i did not wish to pursue a career in photography as i enjoy it as a free and expressive hobby rather than a boring mundane job.

I love many different kinds of music however my favourite band is the smashing pumpkins. Other bands include Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Wu tang, Big L, Big Pun, The White Stripes, and many many more. I listen to many many different genres and am quite well versed in music knowledge. My favourite movies would have to be The Doors movie, Eraserhead, Enter the void, Eyes wide shut, Pulp fiction, and anything else by Kubrick and Tarantino.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think the most amazing thing i have done without getting too personal or going in too to much detail was overcoming a turbulent and unsteady childhood and overcoming many adversities to become a positive and successful member of the community who wants to better the lives of others who are suffering. I have also almost completed my bachelors degree despite dropping out of school in year 8 which i think is a great achievement.
