Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurous spirit with my heart yearning for the open road. As a child I spent every summer traveling. Now, as I venture on my journey to adulthood, I envy traveling those same roads, crossing borders, seeing the beauty that our world has to offer, be in it and see it from a personal perspective, learning from the locals and connecting on a very human level.
Jack of all trades, mechanically savvy, rhythmically and musically inclined, I also do sideshow acts such as fire-eating and breathing, glass eating and a blockhead routine!
Open-minded, free spirited, self-sufficient, modern primitive, practitioner of minimalistic and primitive survival technique.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to get onto Couchsurfing for a number of reasons, to be able to see the world from a locals perspective, to build relationships with people all across the world, and to be able to grow in personal knowledge of the world we live in.
Interests
Creating music, cycling, hiking, free-diving, skydiving, kayaking, body modification and tattoos, all forms of art, and circus sideshow.
Music, Movies, and Books
As a musician I pull a lot of influences from many different places. Couple names to throw around Maynord James Keenan (Tool), Les Claypool (Primus), Bob Weir (guitarist from Grateful Dead), and many, many more.
Movies I enjoy anything from Stanley Kubrick; The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dr. Strangelove. Also a huge fan of David Lynch films; Mullholland Dr., Inland Empire, Eraserhead, and his TV series,
Twin Peaks (co-wrote with Mark Frost).
Also enjoying the works of Eli Roth, The Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving has been the most exhilarating experience that I have had, to date.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you what I've come to know in the world, and how I see it. I aim to learn something new every day, and I can share the experiences and stories from day to day, person to person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open ear, a helping hand, and an infinite amount of generosity and respect.
