About Me

I’m a UK citizen from London who grew up in France (Bordeaux) and has lived in Berlin + Mexico City. I work as an independent artist manager and travel quite a lot for work, so I hold onto my routines as my “portable home” of sorts. This includes:

Exercise: strength, cycling, running, walking, I’ll try anything!
Journaling: a practise I find very enjoyable
Cooking: my happy place
Music: I work with it but love to just listen sometimes
Exploring: I walk to cafes to offset my caffeine addiction

I reckon I’m pretty open minded (who doesn’t?) and I’ll try almost anything once. I’m into psychology and mental health and love to talk about those subjects especially in the context of entrepreneurship.

I don’t smoke/drink ✌️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first couchsurfed in NYC a couple of years ago - I was previously staying with friends who’d left the city and i figured id try something new for my final weeks in NYC. My host Chris came through for me in a huge way and after that first CS i founded the music company I now make a living from.

I travel a lot for work and find it tough to socialize outside of my business connections. I’ve met some great people through hosting Airbnb and CSing and I’m keen to keep it going :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Equally interested in super ‘underground’ and mega mainstream films & music - I’m always up for something new. I am very into books about human behavior and (yawn) music law.

Some of my favourite artists include: Still Woozy, AIR, Myd, Boston Bun, KOTA the Friend, Stormzy, Hamza, Ikaz Boi, Rejjie Snow, Kaytranada, Joy Crookes, Travis Scott, Justice, Crumb, Josman, Bakar, Damso, Black Pumas, Steve Lacy, The Internet, slowthai, Flavien Berger, James Blake, Joji, Jungle, Baauer, Jai Paul, Jamie XX...

Films/TV: Watchmen, Children of Men, Following, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Casino Royale, Anchorman, Call Me By Your Name, Submarine, No Country for Old Men, Fargo, Mesrine, Burn After Reading, Every Wes Anderson, The King, Dumb & Dumber, Star Wars, Rick & Morty, Silicon Valley, Parks & Rec, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking part in founding a music festival in 2016 with 45 other students was an amazing experience. Moving to Mexico on a whim was great fun in 2020 and spending 6 weeks on tour in Bangladesh is the latest addition to the list

Teach, Learn, Share

Fully native bilingual French/English, fluent Spanish after 2 years in Mexico. I like to cook, I can fix anything on a bicycle (former courier), i used to DJ and do freelance copywriting/translation.

Currently taking a keen interest in graphic design/visual arts, photography and 3D art, and a passive interest in machine learning and automation. Very curious about NFTs and the web3 paradigm in music.

Also well versed in music business/law and all things micro-entrepreneurial. I love to consolidate learnings by sharing and have been told I’m a good teacher 🤷‍♂️

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking skills, food, conversation, music, hot spots in Mexico/Paris/Bordeaux/London/Berlin, gig recommendations, bicycle repair, disposable cameras, vinyl from my label…
