About Me

I have been driving transport trucks for over 3 years now and love it. It's the best job in the world, but I don't want to just work everyday at the same place, with the same people, for years and years. I want something more and different. I used to play a lot of video games but they're getting too expensive now, and i found i wasted too much time on them. I grew up in Ontario Canada. I travelled around Europe for 2 months, and now am in Australia for the year working holiday visa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been working steady for a while and feel like everyday is the same. I want to see more and experience more of what life has to offer. So far my travels consisted of resorts and a planned school trip, but I want to get off the beaten path for once. I want more experiences, meet more people, try new things. I'm 26 and feel like I could have been more opportunistic with my early 20's, so I have no plans on burning through my late 20's doing nothing. I'm not using Couchsurfing as a mooch site, it's for the experiences with new people. I'm not here to make messes and increases your food budget, but to be a respectful and accommodating guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't read a book in a while, but I liked the harry potters, and war books. I couldn't watch the harry potter movies because i liked the books so much lol. I like video games, like anyone else, but don't really play them anymore. My favourite one's were skyrim, the witcher series, and the fallouts. Music wise i like anything really, there's good music in every genre, it just depends on the song. But I also reallyy like 90's rap and the black keys lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if this counts as amazing or not, but when I was about 9 years old I wanted to bike to town, which was about a 30 min bike ride from my house. I asked my dad if I could go, and he said only if you bring me back a coffee haha, he was just being sarcastic. But when I went to town I did get him a coffee, and carried it in one hand while biking back to the house. Alot of it spilled out during the ride lol. When I came back with it he just laughed, but he was really pumped for it.
