About Me

I haven't done one of these since MySpace... here we go! My name is Dylan. I recently graduated from college and spent a year teaching English, but decided that wasn’t for me. So I’m working on figuring that out. I absolutely love traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures, which is why I'm here! So I’d love to get to know anyone I meet here and hear some of your stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about it, and I think it's a wonderful way to meet great people and an efficient way to travel to new places without breaking your wallet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
An unlimited variety. Pop, all types of rock and metal, dubstep, Spanish dance music, rap, and even k-pop. Some bands? X Ambassadors, Theory of a Deadman, Breaking Benjamin, For Today, Watsky

Movies/Shows:
The Matrix, Good Will Hunting, John Wick, Pursuit of Happiness, I am Legend, Black Mirror, Game of Thrones. Also a huge Anime fan!

Books:
More diverse than my music taste. C'mon I'm an English major. It's my thing! I adore anything written by Rick Riordan, and I think medieval literature is fantastic. Lord of the Rings and the Inheritance cycle are great as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hands down, most amazing experience of my life was studying abroad in Spain the summer of my junior year. It was the first time I'd left the country and made me truly realize how much the world has to offer. I was fully emerged and lived with a Spanish family, which is such an enriching experience compared to just being a tourist. I could talk about it for days and would love to share stories to someone with a curious ear.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m more than willing to share my experiences with anyone, as well as learn about the experiences of others. I can teach you how to bowl, if you’re interested!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're a good bowler I would 100% love to challenge you! Though I might not have my things... I'd love to listen to travel stories and am more than willing to share a few of my own.
