ABOUT us:
My partner Sophie and I are currently on a year of travel. We are road tripping through Mexico in our Rav4 from October 2024-April 2025 and then WWOOFing on farms and exploring in Europe from May-September 2025. We love all bodies of water and to get outside (boat, backpack, sports, and just explore), have good conversations, and are hoping to meet good folks out there in the world.
I grew up in Arizona and have lived in New Orleans, then Mexico, then Colorado. Sophie grew up in Chicago and New Mexico and then moved to Colorado. We both have worked seasonally as wilderness (rafting and backpacking) guides. We worked for 4 years as a Spanish teacher (Dylan) and farmer and maintenance (Sophie) before saving up enough to quit our jobs for a year of travel.

Even if you can't host us we would love to meet up for good conversation and to get to know your hometown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used CS all over the world as a surfer and always received folks when I can as a host. We are hoping to learn a lot about farming and ecosystems wherever we are, as well as say yes to things!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can help with English and Spanish, as I’ve taught both for years. Sophie can teach you about your garden. Learn: If anyone can make my stubby fingers able to play the guitar I will be forever grateful. Sophie wants to learn the craft of fishing. Share: Whatever is in our minds and possession.
