I'm new to Couchsurfing and looking to take in some adventure in SF. I've gotten to travel to some incredible places through playing rugby over the years but I'm going on a solo trip of California. I'm a medical student at Oxford on a year off from studies travelling and learning. I'm Irish and easygoing!

I've really gotten into yoga this year and want to continue to build on this interest, hoping to integrate it into my medical practice someday. I have played rugby for a number of teams in Ireland and the UK and have travelled with some of my best friends as a result, playing in games against Canada, Croatia and even Madagascar and Afghanistan for my University side, the Oxford Blues.

I'm adaptable and very open to new experiences! I'm as happy sitting at a bar watching sport as I am chatting about science, tech, medicine, what you're reading and more!!

I'm looking to connect with people of similar or different perspectives and mindsets. Couchsurfing seems to be an immense opportunity to explore and meet new people!!

I'm open to any advice, stays or experiences through the Couchsurfing community and just looking to share in you guys' local knowledge, in the hope that someday I can return the favour, be that in Dublin, London or beyond!

I grew up over my parent's pub in Waterford, in the South East of Ireland... My dad brought me up on an eclectic mix of music in Nell's Bar so I enjoy anything from Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan to A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan, with everything in between! When I'm studying, I like to listen to Fela Kuti and Johnny Cash!!
