ABOUT ME

We are two artists hailing from Canada. We are independent thinkers and are laid back, and want to get the most we can out the world. Like everyone else, traveling is a passion, and we strive to find ways to balance our need to root down as well as fly away. As you can imagine, it's a struggle! We compensate by living in a camper wherever we go. We are currently living in one, and lived in a Vanagon as well for a year while traveling down to Mexico. We also have a dog named Ivan, who travels with us!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to meet like-minded folks who care about the message of couchsurfing. We aren't people who are just going to use your couch without any regard that you have just let us into your home! We want to exchange stories and food and make friends and see awesome things, which essentially is what couch surfing is about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When we first signed up with couch surfing, we were quite active in our local community. When we went traveling to Mexico, we found a house to rent, and started inviting couch surfers to stay with us. Strangely enough, we have never surfed (we've always traveled with a camper), but are hoping for the opportunity to do so!

We both make jewelry; Dylan does wire wrappings and Chainmaile, and Emma does Cavandoli Macrame. We sell our wares to make a living. We are also interested in stones of all kind! Aside from work (ha), we are fairly introverted (though not all the time!) and enjoy the simpler things in life, such as books, movies, music, tea, food (Emma is a Celiac Vegan, who is also passionate about raw foods!), beach fires, foraging, nature, cycling, collecting hobbies, living off the grid (specifically vehicles), music festivals and the community that inhabits the scene, gardening, eco-friendly building, sewing, and much more!
