ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Dylan. I like to think I inherited my travelers sprit from my parents, who met in Cameroon whilst in the Peace Corps. All my life I've been seeking travel and adventure. That probably why I joined the Marine Corps when I was 19. Travel and adventure is what I got. Twice I went to Afghanistan and I've trained all over the world. But now my service is over and I'm on my own now. The travel bug didn't go away it only got stronger. I truly enjoy finding new places and connecting with the people I meet there. I'm proud to say I have friends all over the world, from a cheeky desert farmer in Afghanistan to some wild bartenders in Rome. I cant wait to see who I'll meet next.

PHILOSOPHY

My parents tough me to leave the world better than I found it. I try to live by that creed every day. Also to clean up after myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet. I've always stayed in hostels or hotels before. I learned about this community from a lovely Brit in a hostel in Florence. I hope to have some soon though.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Its a tie between the northern lights in Scotland and the night sky in Afghanistan. The northern lights were so wondrous and surprising that I will never forget them till the day I die. But unadulterated night sky in Afghanistan is so brilliant and pure that I never wanted to sleep, only to stay awake a little longer and stare into the cosmos.
