Hello, my name is Dylan and I am a traveller from Vancouver, Canada! I am passionate about creating the life I want to live, connecting with others, creating, loving, and learning. I am a hopeless romantic through and through and this influences my entire existence.

I own a business in Vancouver Canada (I am a climbing arborist) that I operate 6 months of the year and the other 6 months I spend traveling! I have a growing passion for film photography, I am a writer, I like to sketch, and would consider myself a philosopher of sorts. In general I loves the arts and creating and I am always looking to connect with other creatives,

I am very respectful and love to help for the sake of helping, and I love to have others share their story with me and I am happy to share mine,

While traveling, intend to make some extra money with paid film photography and some body work/healing, mostly intuitive massage therapy but I can also help facilitate trapped emotion release.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get the most authentic experience I can while I travel and what better way than to spend time with locals. I also adore the concept and know invariably it will add to my adventure in rich and interesting ways!

Music, Movies, and Books

Frank Ocean and Dijon are two of my all time favorite artists. I love r&b, hip-hop, reggaeton, blues, jazz, some metal, funk, soul.

My favourite novel is 'Shantaram' and the sequel 'Mountain Shadow'. There are far too many other great books and authors in all subjects to elaborate here but I am a total book worm and love to offer recommendations!

I am a film photographer and am happy share knowledge on the subject! I love talking about all things philosophy and healthy living and feel I have a lot of insight to offer into these topics. I am a lover of attaining new knowledge and perspectives and love to learn one one one, I'm always interested in new languages.
