I think one of the most amazing thing I've realised while travelling, is that while we may come from all sorts of background and stories, sharing about your own as well as experiencing from a local's perspective is simply amazing. I love visiting the typical "absolute-things-to-do", but at the same time love to experience the local lifestyle otherwise (places and things to eat, places to go etc). What better than seeing it through the looking glass from a local or someone who has lived at that place for some time? :)
