I'm new to this site, but have loaned my couch to travellers in the past and have been hosted the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like world cinema, and horrors/thrillers. I like reading but can only read books that I can get into straight away; my favourite authors are Graham Joyce and Jonathan Safran Foer. I love music, and enjoy all music as long as it's good and individual (that excludes Britney Spears unfortunately!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't stick to one thing that I've done in my lifetime which is special, but seeing sunset at the pyramids after bribing my way in, and enjoying sunrise at Bodh Gaya, where the Buddha got enlightened, are probably the top two...

Teach, Learn, Share

My specialist subject is trivial knowledge with a UK slant. I love learning about local history in my real life and I expand this by learning about the history and culture of the places I travel to. I know alot about science from my education, and work in e-marketing so keep fairly up to date with IT. I know a fair amount about Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and am really keen to learn more about other philosophies and religious thinking.
