My full first name is Dzmitry, but you can call me just Dima. I’m from Belarus, but for the last 3 years I have been most of the year traveling. Belarus is very small country for me. As the whole world recently. So I’m searching for something more for me.
I work as a Business Analyst in IT company and it gives me an opportunity to travel and feel free. Although I’m planning to change my occupation and speciality in the future, as that is not what I want.
I’m very open-minded person and strive for knowledge and something new allowed me to broaden horizons a lot. So I think there will be a lot to talk with everybody. And in addition to that I love adventures a lot and if you have some idea, most probably I will support it.

I like meeting new people, learn something new about their culture, customs and traditions. It gives you a chance to get acquainted with the city and the country from native citizens point of view. That is what you will not be able to do if you are an ordinary tourist, live in hotel and don't communicate with native citizens.

I don’t listen to music often, but one day would like to get acquainted with jazz. And one of my dreams is to learn to play the piano.

My favorite movie is “Interstellar”. Most of all I like movies with some deep idea.

I like educational books. My favorite are Daniel Yergin’s and Ray Dalio’s ones.
I read all the books of Daniel Yergin which are connected to history of oil and energy and how our world was developed. Ray Dalio tells about macroeconomy, debt market and economy dependencies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

During my Albanian trip in 2021 I hosted people without the Couchsurfing. It was like a last minute request. I hosted people for 2 times there. These were guys from France and Russia.
With a guy from Russia i got acquainted in the mountains. And then we went to my city.
And about guys from France. My friend met them on the road while hitch-hiking. They were going to my city. He offered them my help and that is how we met.

I graduated from university in 2018 and my major is automated systems of data processing. Since then I work in IT sphere as a Business Analyst.

I really like economy and i spend a lot of time to learn it. I already read huge amount of different literature and articles and planning to get CFA certificate to change my occupation.

Except of that I really believe in cryptocurrency and decentralization. I believe that it will change our world and make it better. The same as AI. We live in amazing world full of scientific discoveries which can not help, but impress. And I cannot wait to see what expects us in a 10 years and more.
