Overview
About Me
I've been living in Western Mass for about six years now. I've been slowly working on my bachelors at UMass Amherst in Sustainable Food and Farming, while working full time and figuring life out.
I'm flexible and easy-going. I like to go out and have fun, but am just as happy staying in to cook and play games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is an awesome community that makes traveling so much more accessible for folks traveling on a budget. I'm glad to be part of it.
Also, when I was away as a boarding student in high school my parents hosted many couchsurfers from all over the world in my room. They had a great time and I want to continue their legacy of hosting. And I hope to do more traveling in the future!
Interests
I love cooking, being outside, going for walks, and farming. Going to the movies, performances, community events.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read. Some of my favorite authors include Isabella Allende, Barbara Kingsolver, Amy Bloom, Anita Diamante. There's more! But that's all I can think of right now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share the beautiful Pioneer Valley! We're lucky here to have such amazing and beautiful places to walk, hike, swim, meditate, and just be.
I'm 30 minutes away from Amherst, which is a college town that could be fun to visit. I'm also close to Northampton, which has great restaurants and a few good music venues. I live in Turner's Falls, which is very small but also has a fun, quirky vibe. Great antique shops (not too expensive ones!), a few good cafes/restaurants, and a fun music scene.
I'm a farmer, so I'm always excited to visit different farms.
