ABOUT ME

In this new period of my life I'm discovering the world by myself... I can't get tired of seeing new countries, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and enjoying new, enriching conversations!

I like to laugh a lot, or have serious conversations next to a glass of wine or a latte. I like to learn about new things. I love cooking 5-star recipes from food.com or trying some real nutritious, healthy meals. :P

PHILOSOPHY

"You be the change you want to see in the world." It's such a famous saying that it's almost a cliche, but it's so true!

I believe in one's continuous education - in or out of the classroom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Registered and tried CS a few years ago on my way to Denmark and Sweden. Result: I'M SOLD ON THE IDEA!!! :o)

I have a small apartment in Budapest that has not been touched since it was built in 1969. A MASSIVE renovation is ahead of me, so currently I'm staying with family and therefore I cannot host... :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I checked out my Swedish host's precious community garden plot & self-built fire pit... and she totally looked like Agnetha from ABBA! =D

I swang on the swing our host installed for his kids inside a gorgeous cabin home he built himself at the edge of the forest in Kőszeg, an amazingly beautiful Hungarian town. :)

Interests

Geez, the list is so long! I don't know which one I'm more interested in: personal development books or alternative medicine... :o) Plus, languages, collecting stamps, step aerobics, energy politics, photography, cooking, raw diet (etc... I know, some of these (like the last two) sound totally contradictory or weird, but I'm just so interested in... I guess, creating, and improving myself - in every way possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parasailing over beautiful Lake Tahoe (California) was awesome! And I was profoundly touched by driving around Transylvania...
Climbing up that famous waterfall in Jamaica wasn't bad either :o)
I am so happy that I was able to help building the Tahoe Rim Trail, part of the famous Pacific Rim Trail, as a volunteer!
I went to see Auschwitz - it's definitely an experience, a different kind at that.
