ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Yilan, Taiwan as an English Teacher. I love to travel but have not had as much of an opportunity as I would like. I'm working on finding the time and the courage to do more. I love hearing about people's trips and what places people recommend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I currently have roommates and have to close my couch, I am willing to show people around my town and offer suggestions about Taiwan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I road tripped across the United States this past summer with a group of three friends. I had the time of my life meeting new people and getting to know new areas. The best experiences were those where someone showed us around the town and we got to see all the best places.

Interests

I like the outdoors, volunteering, reading, and spending time with my friends. I love traveling and seeing the non-touristy parts of the towns I visit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in the restoration efforts for the gulf coast in New Orleans. It was an amazing thing to see how a community and a country can reach out and help one another.
