Hello!

I'm Eamon, and I'm traveling around the world in 2017! With one backpack, no plan, and no reservations I know I'm in for the adventure of a lifetime! I love meeting people from all around the world, and would love to make friends on here that I can possibly visit on my travels!

I like to think I'm an easygoing and friendly person. I easily get along with just about any type of person. I am very open-minded and wanting to experience new cultures.

I will likely be traveling in: Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and potentially more!

I will be traveling around the world for about a year or so starting in March 2017! I think the best way to get to the heart of a country is to meet its people. I am hoping to find some locals to stay with and ideally show me some of their culture and how they live their lives. I think the world is a beautiful place filled with beautiful people, and I want to meet them.

I enjoy most kinds of music aside from rap and country music. My favorite kinds of music would be Indie/Alternative and Indie folk. My favorite bands are Sigur Ros, Lord Huron, The Fratellis, Night Beds, Penny and Sparrow, Kishi Bashi, and Katie Day. I also enjoy classical and jazz music as I used to be a jazz musician and played the saxophone.

I love movies that are highly imaginative such as Pan's Labyrinth and Spirited Away. I also admit that I have a love of the kids movie How to Train Your Dragon, ha.

I have read all of the Song of Ice and Fire books that the show Game of Thrones is based on. I also love the books Cloud Atlas, the Name of the Wind series, the Kite Runner, and Agatha Christie murder mysteries.
