My fiance and I are moving to Gunnison Colorado so that she can continue her Master's degree and I can find a career now that I am finished with my degree. I am a combat veteran. I have two children of which I'm hoping one will come live with me if I find the right house and the right job there in Gunnison or the surrounding area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is very hard to find a home around the Gunnison area. We are hoping to find a temporary place to stay until we can find a home of our own.

We both love being outdoors. I love hiking, fishing, camping, biking, etc... I have not ever tried snow skiing, but it definitely look fun!

I love all music except death metal. I'm more into comedy movies than anything else and my lady loves musicals. I'm not much of a book reader, but if I had to choose it would be Jack London books or anything to do with outdoors such as "Into the Wild". My fiance reads many books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Iraq for combat two years in total. I did many convoy missions and I patrolled the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers.
