HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host other people, because I love listening to their stories.

I've also recently taken up long-distance bicycle touring, and I would like to use couchsurfing for when I'm on the road and need a place to hang my hat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any couchsurfing experience at all. This is something that I want to change.

No one particular movie or book stands out for me, though I'm a fan of fantasy stories and personal development books. For movies, I'm a sucker for epic flashy action flicks.

I have played a lot of video games in the past. My favorite of all time is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The whole "open world" concept is just amazing.

My favorite song is Orbital - Halcyon On and On.

I consider myself a big-city person who doesn't get overwhelmed by large crowds. One day when I was in Tokyo, I was cycling in a fairly empty street. I rounded a street corner and was greeted by an overwhelmingly massive crush of people. I literally held my breath. That's the only time that's ever happened to me.
