ABOUT ME

I am honest, friendly, I laugh a lot (even at potty humour), somewhat neurotic and sensitive.. Vegetarian. I cook well, quite good with my hands and brain. I work as an English teacher for children from 4-12. I studied philosophy and now education. I'd like to be a special needs teacher although I'm open to other opportunities. I live with my boyfriend in Plainpalais, which is a lively area in Geneva centre. We have a wonderful dog, a terrier-podengo cross, that we adopted from the animal shelter and completes our little family.

PHILOSOPHY

To be kind, open minded, healthy, live by my values, help others as I can, grow and learn from experience, enjoy the colours/sounds/smells/flavours/emotions/stories the world has to offer.

Interests

I like animals, and nature. One day I'd like to escape the hustle-bustle of cities and rich countries and have my little house in the prairy, with vegetable garden and farm animals and work as the community teacher.. Although right now I'm rather enjoying people-watching in the city. I'm interested in people whether on individual or cultural levels, which is how I justify watching many trashy reality tv shows... It's the anthropology of it! I like to read, write, draw, make things with my hands. I like to learn new things.. which is why I watch documentaries. I also used to like thinking a lot, but after 4 years of university philosophy, I decided to privilege the practical aspects of life and think mostly in service of this.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmmm so many but to name a few:
for books... a lot of Nietzsche.. memorable books: Bell Jar, Howard's End, Little Prince.. can't think of more right now: coffee hasn't kicked in yet.. I do laugh a lot with Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.. and I enjoy perceptive writers like Greene
Favourite tv show ever: Black Books.
Music: I listen to blues and Indie the most.
