ABOUT ME

Hi.
I've only surfed once and the waves weren't all that great. Oh wait. Couch surfing...
I'm a social guy and I find the interesting interactions between couchsurfers can be much more engaging than the chit chat you often find with strangers in life.
Currently designing couture clothing and accessories made solely of antique/vintage/second-hand materials with environmentalism in mind.
I am a veteran backpacker and enjoy going into the wilderness ... though they don't have couches there (hopefully).
Interested in some urban backpacking/couchsurfing, meeting and connecting with people as I create environmental art with fashion as my medium.

Definitely a diet conscious person and while I have gone as far as raw veganism I'm currently vegetarian. Trying to figure out the best ways to adapt to a high protein, low-no animal product diet, which might come along as I settle onto the east coast as I have recently left California.

I enjoy keeping up the laughs as well, life isn't always so serious. =)

Oh and as much as I sound like a hippie I have great hygiene. I promise!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I don't have a place to host now, I will be the best possible guest I can be! Manners in mind, I'm a very quiet respectful person as the situation deems appropriate. Hopefully we gain more from eachother and its not all about "crashing on a couch."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many of my closest friends growing up have been loving Couchsurfing and this site for years as they find awesome friendly people in places across the country. I haven't stayed with anyone myself yet, you should be the first. ; )

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to sew on a button.
Or use a blind slip stitch on your hem. Definitely adept with the needle, but I'm always interesting in learning new construction and tailoring of garments.

I know first aid, CPR, wilderness survival, how to cook great dishes from nearly every corner of the world and always love to learn more, particularly if we're finding fresh local pieces from the farmers markets and local co-ops.
