ABOUT ME

My family & friends tell me that I'm independent outgoing! I personally think I'm the guy who likes challenging myself and learning! Learning at school, work & in the fields never get me bored.

I'm also passionate for languages. When I was in college, I took a year's off and had a year in New Zealand, learning English, tourism and working as an intern for one of the biggest backpackers hostels in Auckland! That turning point made me realize that I love backpacking, learning something new and experiencing cultural mingling.

Now I live in Chiba, Tokyo metropolitan area! I work as a tour leader only in domestic. In the near future, I want to support foreign tourists coming over to Japan as an English-speaking national guide. That's one of my goals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be a kind of bridge between my country and others. I thought CouchSurfing is one of the ways.

I strongly feel that I am Japanese through my overseas experiences. Now I feel like showing people what true Japan is like and clearing the misunderstanding they might have.

And also, I want to gain an insight into Japan through CouchSurfing. I'm also looking forward to meeting travelers with different backgrounds and learning something new!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in many Backpackers hostels and done homestays, but I've never met people through this website, so I'm desperate.

Interests

I like exploring places with no plan. I think that's because I always work on scheduled tours as a tour manager. I've been to Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Taiwan & China.

I'm also interested in languages. I now study English and Chinese. My Chinese is still poor, but I've been doing my best. I know greetings from several countries because I always ask people for their greetings.
