ABOUT ME

I like travelling & meeting people & have friends around the world but would like more.
This years travelling has been Vietnam motorbiking, UK, Berlin, Budapest, Greek Islands, Turkey & just popped over to Melbourne for a spot of catch ups, drinking, dinners & shopping :)
Thinking of motorbiking through Laos in Dec.
I like enjoying the day, being around cool, fun, inspired people who have passion.
I'm pretty relaxed and like hanging out with people who are positive and like to share
This year I've started a few projects so I can escape the winter & go travelling again. Some weeks I'll just want time by myself to focus. The end of the week & weekends are more likely to be free for me for hosting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm here in NZ I'm often hanging at home on Waiheke Island and would like to share that with cool people that are travelling, make some friends, maybe catch up again overseas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have now hosted CS's since Nov 2010. I've enjoyed new people popping in, showing people around & making some friends around the world.

Other experience, Walked into a bar in Hanoi and was asked by this German guy if I had come for the couch surfing party, of course I said I definitely had.
A good night :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day when Waiheke Island was being attacked by giant elephants who stood hundreds of meters tall from the sea I cooked up a lovely batch of wontons that calmed them all down and we all became friends. True story :0

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning from others, it interesting that things you never even thought of come out in conversations.
I've had some experience in business & I like creative ideas & projects.
I'm learning drum kit & enjoy giving a starter lesson, it's lots of fun :) & if you've got some good drum skills to teach me them bring em on!
