I finally have the freedom to explore more of this great planet. First some of europe with daughter, then wherever my curiosity takes me

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous 52 year old guy living at Armidale on the northern tablelands of NSW. Live in the house I built with my own hands. Fortunate to have recenty gained the freedom to explore the world, different cultures and ideas.
Have 2 great kids, a 23 yld daughter who is studying in Paris, and a 21 yld son who has just started working as a paramedic on the north coast. Was teaching agriculture at a tertiary level for 20 years and was farming before that and am particularly interested in sustainable management of natural resources

I would like to host people from other countries and soon I hope to surf

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have not surfed myself yet but recently hosted a young french couple. The girl's parents had looked after my daughter near Pris and I was glad to have them stay at my place on their way around Australia. They were coming for a week but stayed a month. Really enjoyed it. I benefited as much as they did. Also had a friend of my daughter's from .. stay for a few days.

Had a humpback whale dive under me and surface just near me while sea kayaking off the east coast.
