"it's funny how things work out" seems to be the definition of my life.

i have a hard time settling down and i want to see the world! people, cultures, sights, smells, and sounds inspire me.

most people i meet think i am one of the most calm people they have met. people that know me well will tell you how excitable i get; i just don't let the little things bother me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

after years of hearing about the wonders of couchsurfing through friends, i am finally going to embark on my first adventure!

this summer, i will be heading off to australia (melbourne, sydney, and queensland) as a last HURRAH as a student. oz has always been a dream, and i can't wait to get to know the city and its' residents.

movies:
amelie, friday night lights the royal tenenbaums, rushmore, volver... i like movies that straddle the line between being artistic and being absolutely entertaining.

books:
i have fallen behind on my book reading, but am picking up 'the hunger games' this summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sitting around under the stars in the rainforest in belize with our tents just a few feet away. there is no electricity, but the campfire provided enough light while we ate, exchanged jokes/riddles, and played cards with the park warden and his family.

Teach, Learn, Share

i am not too shabby with a computer, and can teach you how to photoshop just about anything. my handwriting is also pretty neat. i will also share my stash of candy/trail mix/cookies, if you are nice :)
