"It would be a shame if you did not take this opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience ... don't settle down & sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon." -Alexander Supertramp
For the past year or so travel has taken a back seat in my life. It was still very much on my agenda but after many years bouncing around the world, seeing, experiencing, learning, growing, loving, being; I was more interested in spending some time in Melbourne, grounding myself and establishing more of a sense of self beyond the context of the open road.
I am vegan.
I am queer.
I love all creatures great and small.
My spirit longs for a life in the woods.
I am at my truest and happiest when travelling.
~~~Step out of your head and into your heart~~~
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I truly believe couch surfing is the best way to explore a country and to really connect with a culture and it's people. It opened me up to a world of possibility and adventure. So many things I have seen and experienced simply would not have been possible if it was not for this incredible community.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While travelling in Canada I was lucky enough to spend one night lying on a rooftop watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky. I was staying out on an acreage in Alberta with the great aunt and uncle of a friend of mine. I scaled a satellite pole and managed a meter's leap across to the roof of their two story house. My friends great uncle, well into his 70's joined me. We were both like two kids, unable to contain our excitement. I still don't know how the two of us managed to get up there, must have been adrenaline. But the lights, the lights were truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed.
