ABOUT ME
I am a photographer who loves to travel.
I love making sandwiches. It is a recent passion of mine that I have developed on the road. From cutting bread and slicing cheese with a credit card in Strasbourg, to the razor sharp precision of slicing tomatoes with a box cutter in Bangkok--I have constructed some very memorable 'wiches. My favorite/must have ingredients are tomato, basil, and of course, GOOD BREAD. I love good bread.
I also love the accordion. Europe is great for good accordion on the street. My most memorable accordion experience was on the Charles Bridge in Prague one night. I was walking home when I came across a guy playing the most beautiful button-accordion in the most stunning of ways. I had never heard anything quite like what he was producing from that instrument and suspect I may never again.
PHILOSOPHY
life isn't easy, but its the only thing worth living

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of wes anderson, bill murray, christopher walken and far too many movies to list.
I love any music that takes me somewhere. I listen to everything from oldies to electronic/dance to instrumental (rock and classical) and everything in between. I am a die hard fan of the accordion and I will learn how to play it when I return home to the states.
I have been reading a lot over the past 4 months of travel. Some recent books I have enjoyed were 1984 by George Orwell, Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami and V by Thomas Pynchon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A blizzard with freezing temperatures on the greek islands, stranded for 2 days, it was somethin else.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach anyone who will listen about photography, I often can't help myself. It is my life's passion and I am most happy with a camera in my hand.
I am always learning, everyday from every person I meet. I love a good conversation and if you can teach me something new, I will love you for it.
As far as sharing is concerned. What is mine is yours, so long as you don't break it. That has always been my motto ;-)
