ABOUT ME

We live in Southeast Portland, Oregon.

I live with my beautiful new wife Amanda. We spend a lot of time hiking, skiing, camping or doing anything else outdoors. Personally, my passion is on two wheels! My cycling team keeps me pretty busy on the road or the dirt.

My teammate and partner in crime is Amanda. She is a charismatic sole with a passion for caring. Although I'm the planner, she creates a relaxed and comforting atmosphere for any situation.

My close friends and family would say that I have a passion for people. I love new adventures and sitting down story telling all night with a cold one (microbrews or homebrews preferred!).

When we are not outside, we spend a lot of time cooking new foods with exotic ingredients. Please use the words super-duper if requesting a visit! Some people watch TV, we cook.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to host new friends in our spare bedroom (well it's a futon...but you have your own room!). If you have a good story and are ready to see Portland the local way, this is your stop.

We travel a ton on the weekends and always prefer to use CS. It's always amazing to show up in a foreign place and have a group for friends right away!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my favorite passions...whether it's Brubeck, Soulive, Blink, Weakerthans or Postal Service...I like it all! Well, everything but country (sorry!). I love sharing new bands and having all night rock out sessions!

I'm not sure if I have a favorite book...but love reading. Always looking for recommendations!

Movies? Nothing Hollywood but love a good film!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We love to travel. Seeing a new town in Europe or in our country always brings a smile to our faces...Can't wait to do more!
