I grew up in New York was in the military, went to college in Missouri and moved to DC for a job with the federal government.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live outside the district in Washington DC so I can put a person or two up if you wanted to visit the nations capital. Keep in mind that I am near a metro station but a ride into the city will take 35 to 40 minutes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had good experiences so far. I have put up a few people from the CS website and I have had a few friends that are not in the couch surfers community stay with me too.

Interests

For physical activates I like to go skiing, biking, hiking, or going for a motorcycle ride. I'm interested in books either novels or biography types. I like old cars and planes I drive a classic car and I have a pilots license.

Music, Movies, and Books

Office space is one of my favorites.
Books: Suttree, Vally of the Dolls, War and Peace. I thought I could use reading war and peace as a major accomplishment in my life but now I that I finished it I don't.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Big life accomplishments are:

Earned a pilots license
Completed a college degree
Honorable discharge from the military
Rode a motorcycle to Bulgaria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer some more intimate locations that may be off the beaten path that a normal tourist wont see. I also need some french instruction.
