About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" -Lao Tzu

ABOUT ME

After finishing university in Boston and I avoided the real world of 9-5 jobs by teaching English for the year in Adana. Now started graduate school in Istanbul in Museum studies. Loving Istanbul and everything about it!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every experience that comes your way and experience as much as you can. By traveling you not only learn about other people and cultures but about yourself. I dont know where I'm headed but am just going to enjoy the ride. In the words of Tolkien "Not all those who wander are lost"

Music, Movies, and Books

everything, everything, everything. Movies: any historical movies, fantasy (I will never be too old for Harry Potter), romance (500 days of summer is by far my favorite, not your typical happy ending), comedy (forgetting sarah marshall, youth in revolt), classics (grease hands down). Music: i go through moods....chill acoustic, rock, alternative, alot of little known artists. Books: I'll try most anything, you'll almost always find a book in my purse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

an archaeology dig outside of Aleppo - was digging a walled city about 4500 years old...i even helped excavate a grave! it was definitely a long 6 weeks but it was the most rewarding learning I've ever done. That cemented in my mind that I was not meant to ever be working in an office or just reading books...I want to go out and do.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
