About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet more people who are committed to traveling! I also want to repay all the hospitality I always receive during my own travels.
ABOUT ME
I'm quietly enthusiastic about meeting new people and learning about life in new places. I get along with most personality types and am almost always chilled out.
I come across as slightly reserved at first but am actually an introverted extrovert.
Slightly messy but nothing too bad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far-help me change that!
Interests
Although I'm mellow social justice issues really matter to me. I enjoy reading about social activists and doing volunteer work to honor my idealism.
Of course, international and local travel, spending time with my friends, health food, bikram yoga and hiking.
And music- prefer electronic, shoegaze, and some folk and rock.

Music, Movies, and Books
books about social justice and the impact of class, race, gender and other types of identity-by gloria steinem, bell hooks, peggy mcintosh, kozol's "amazing grace", are just some of the few nonfiction things I like to read. anything by sherman alexie, salman rushdie, dave eggers, paul theroux, and david rakoff.
I like to listen to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Radiohead, Ladytron, the Knife, Lady Gaga, amon tobin, Explosions in the Sky, Surfer Blood, Zola Jesus, antony and the johnsons, Jesus and Mary Chain, slowdive, my bloody valentine and a place to bury strangers, to name a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I felt in awe for almost all of my 7 day trek in Nepal through the mountain villages and meeting people I never would have met in any other way.
Almost all of these moments take place during travel!
