Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just Joined. I figure I have a whole lot of traveling and hosting to do in the future; near and far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a CS virgin.

Interests

Sports. I have competed competitively in hockey, basketball, swimming, rugby, football and other sports. I'll play almost anything recreationally.

Sailing. I have worked on large schooners mostly. It's been a great life experience so far and also a great way to save money while traveling, having fun, and making some great friends.

Family. I haven't spent a lot of time with my family in recent years so I really value the time I spend with them.

Friends. Nuff said.

Reading. Usually always have something on the go.

Challenges and adversity. They make you into a better person and the person you are.

Traveling.

Would like to get back into playing music at some point.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably not one thing in particular yet.

Although, a few memories that come to mind are:

Holding hands in the Peace Tower
Sailing on a piece of history
Christmas Eve skating on Fancy Lake
Riding a very nice wave at sunset

Phosphorescence
Three masted schooners jostling together
Whales, sharks, dolphins from aloft
Close calls
