About Me

A tiny piece of this little planet in the giant universe trying to figure out what's going on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I realised that visiting somewhere as a tourists, taking pictures and seeing all those museums, statues, monuments doesn't really mean anything. I want to see how people live there, how they feel, what do they care for. Well, CS seems like a pretty good platform for that.

Interests

I used to play volleyball and still love it. I like swimming, running even though I am mostly too lazy to get my ass up. Lately I am really interested in yoga. Not that I am doing but definitely I want to learn about it. I like meeting people from different places and learning from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am more open about music comparing to before, I love letting the radio decide what I listen to and discover a new song that is going to be my favourite for a while. But I can always listen to The Smiths, Stromae, Pink Martini, Portugal. The Man, Placebo, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi and anything that makes me feel something.
Harry Potter! Les Fabuleux Destine d'Amélie Poulain is a movie I can always watch, it just makes me happy. I also like Aamir Khan's movies. Hey don't forget the animated movies! To be honest I am not much of an expert about that.
Love in the Time of Cholera is the first book that I can think of. I also love Ursula K. LeGuin, Douglas Adams( The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)and again Harry Potter books. I don't even think that you're still reading this part.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in a project focusing on empowering teenage girls as a volunteer. I don't know if that sounds amazing but that environment, people I met there taught me a lot and being a part of it felt amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

We learn different things everyday, from anyone. Every person we met touches our lives and enriches us. I'd like to learn about different cultures, languages, believes, stories of people. I can share my experiences, tell you about my culture, language... as much as I know if you're interested.

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain, United States
