Hello! I'm a computer engineering student who is born and raised in Istanbul. After my first year of university I wanted to do some volunteering work so here I am in Croatia right now! We're working with kids who do not live with their families, trying to teach them English and working about such subjects as self-esteem and world problems. Beside my nerdy engineering life I love travelling and currently I'm travelling around Croatia in my free times with my friends who are from different countries around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about Couchsurfing from a friend of mine and she told me this is one of the best ways of travelling! And I'm so excited about this experience because I love meeting new people and creating new stories.
When you're travelling It's always even more inspiring to talk to local people and learning their cultures with actually living it! Because of that Couchsurfing is perfect for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen rock and metal music but every kind of music has their bests! I mostly listen 70's and 80's rock/metal but also modern rock too. Metallica, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC are some of my favourite bands.But still, good music is good music!
I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter but beside that a cinema addict! Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino are my favourite directors and we can all agree that people who find Godfather boring has no taste right? If you cried while watching Shindler's List and got mindblowed while watching Inception we can be good friends!
I'm kind of a person who reads world classics for fun, I read any book without discriminating them.
