I've been to Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and studied all three languages in varying degrees. Traveling taught me most of what I know about life. I was Taiwanese in my past life ;)

Ah and yes, If you are requesting to surf, use my name in your request, and show that you've read/skimmed my profile, its a decent way to show you're not copy pasting messages, which I probably won't respond to. I do give preference to ppl with more surfing experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Experience is the best teacher.

You'll forget much of what you learn in college but traveling experiences, living in other countries, and meeting vibrant people stays with you forever.

Seeing the sunset in Hakodate (Hokkaido, Japan) was gorgeous. Rode a scooter up the Taroko Gorge in Hualien, TW
and along the E. Coast of Taiwan in pouring rain, AWESOME.

I've learned a lot from traveling in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan. I can teach some Japanese (studied for 2+ yrs) and limited Korean. Life is an experience. I especially learned outside the classroom through travel and cultural experiences.
